Beer and ziQmu and friend’s blog

So what ?

I just started my blog.. already full of useless articles – the future will be worst ! – but still some guyz ask for more.. yeah ok, maybe just a few like Luce – aka nameless -.

Yeah, the thing is that this man is part of why I’m making this blog because he went to Rennes this year – and I wonder why  I did not follow him there “Il va se goinfrer” :] – . So, to keep in touch, a blog seems to be a good idea. Furthermore this guy has already is own blog, but he has been given up updating his web site :  theland.free.fr/blog/nameless . But, my initiative may have some side effect, and he seems to make his blog come back to life !

Anyway, I’m a bit drunk while  writing this article, but you might have guessed it from the start – check the title if not -. So we had beers : good old 9 degrees beers… Barbar – honey beer -, Abbaye des Rocs, etc. and more that I can’t even remember. My friend is a specialist in that matter :] So this blog may also contains a list of beers you may want to taste. I can already told you : check the Barbar and the “3 Pistoles” as they are both very tasty beers. In addition, if you are looking for a place in Nantes to make your own experiment, look no further and enter the tavern : the Gralin – next to the Gralin’s place -.

So, we had good time drinking beers and watching rock song in his flat while public transport were on strike …

I don’t listen at all and I don’t know rock bands, though I really like nice songs with guitar, drums, bass and singer. But, what I do like so much in rock is that they talk real, good, authentic lyrics. Here is a tips brought by Nicolas Jean, I will share with you. I already knew the power of adding keyword so you can access your favorite website faster by only typing a few letters ( ex : G for Google ). But Nicolas take us one step further :

1. Bookmark a website where you often make request, search request for instance, like http://www.wordreference.com/.

2. Figure out which part of the web address is being modified each time you make a request http://www.wordreference.com/fren/MY_SEARCH_REQUEST. Here I notice that every time I’m looking for the equivalent of the French word in English, only the last part of the address is changing.

3. So, find your bookmark, right click -> property. Here add a keyword : like dfren – meaning dictionary English to French – and substitute MY_SEARCH_REQUEST by %s. You get : http://www.wordreference.com/fren/%s.

4. Now enjoy. Type Ctrl-L or use your mouse to click on the adress bar and type : dfren bonjour.

Magic ! you get the page bringing you the translation of bonjour. A look at your address bar explains the trick : bonjour has been substitute to your %s… Now you can just do this for every search engine you want !

It has never been so easy and so fast to find and to listen music.

Still, I’m flabbergasted ( les bons restes de lycée ! ) to see some people who are even more ignorant than me :] I like much techno, house, hiphop, but these music styles are now trendy and so, very disposed to be flooded by mainstream commercial music.

I can’t stand listening to commercial shit.. Take house for instance : David Guetta, Martin Solveig ( i really hate him, don’t really know why :] ), to some lower extend ( “dans une moindre mesure… ” ) Bob Sinclar.. There are so much more artists who excel in there domain. Yet, no one as heard of. I was so surprised to see Etienne de Crecy at Scopitone on september the 21. He is a pionneer in french electro/house – read the book “french touch”, one of the few books i ever read :] – and give us an amazing show. I advice you the “Am I wrong” track. Anyway, I’m jumbling everything as always… I’m aware that Finding good music may be a full time job ! But.. still I hope many people will try to take some time to find music that fits their tastes instead of swallowing every low quality stuff they are earing !

Because that is a reality : eat shit, spread shit, make shit ?! Nooo, let’s put some quality into this, and this is part of why i’m currently making a blog. To share my music discoveries. Let’s “short-circuit” the system, find some good songs and share them !

Write in english or not write in english ?

Yeah, so I will probably spend my time making mistakes while writing something so you would be kind if you could tell me where I’m wrong so I can improve my english !
Damn, I know this is not the place where I should be learning english, but neither at the university because our lessons are so ineffective… I guess I’m going to improve my english skills before writing decent articles !

Salut ! Bon alors c parti j’ouvre un pitit blog.

Alors, pourquoi donc… ?

• Il faut que je taff pendant cette année de M1. C’est donc le moment opportun d’ouvrir un blog qui risque de me prendre du temps !
• Haaa, il faut que je satisfasse mon ego exacerbé…
• Histoire de voir…
• Parce que tout ce que je peux être amené a découvrir, je vais essayer de le partager plutôt que de le garder avidement pour m’en servir après comme arme de reconnaissance sociale…

Et sinon, pourquoi djcoin ?

Il se trouve que c’est un pseudo très ancien. Je ne suis absolument pas dj bien que ce fût un “rêve” de gosse, en fait je me suis rendu assez vite compte que ca allait peut-être plutôt me gonfler après l’avoir fait de façon très amateur à des fêtes chez wam… Bon par contre, j’ai fait un peu de MAO ( musique assisté par ordinateur ) pendant une certaine période. Ce qui fait que j’ai quand même une petite connaissance de la musique (6 ans de piano) et de certains softs – connaissance “légère” – ( Cubase, FruityLoops, SoundForge) , concepts de tout ca. Enfin bon tout ca pour dire que je ne me prétends pas le moins du monde DJ, que je ne fais pas de son non plus actuellement – on sait jamais ca pourrait revenir, d ailleurs j uploaderai peut etre un morceau d’antan si je le retrouve -. C’est un pseudo !

Bon alors par contre je vous préviens, je n’ai pas l’intention de “crawler” ( pour les non-geek : parcourir le web comme un robot  – de Google par exemple – ) le web, les blogs etc. afin de vous fournir les dernières infos en matière de je ne sais quoi. L’idée sera plutôt de tenir une liste des trucs que je découvre, ou des réflexions que je me fais au fil des jours. Comme ca, moi ca me laisse une marque – j’en ai marre de chercher des trucs puis de les oublier, au moins ils seront la – tout en faisant partager ca à ceux qui veulent.
